LIONS PARK

Public BBQ

Loxton's Lions Park, featuring the iconic Tree of Knowledge, is a serene and historically rich stopover. This majestic gum tree, standing tall by the River Murray, bears marks of various flood levels, with the 1956 record still astounding visitors. Recently, a bike pump track has been added for modern entertainment. The park's proximity to amenities like dump and water points adds convenience for travelers. While parking and wheelchair access can be challenging, the beauty and tranquility of the park, coupled with its historical significance, make it a worthwhile visit. The area is well-equipped for family outings, with clean BBQ areas, public toilets, and a playground. The tree itself imparts a sense of calm and wellness, blending recreational space with a historical landmark in Loxton.
